2012 is here and the planning for our new season is underway!!

Please understand that you do not need prior football experience to play on our team!
THE RAMS thank all those who took part in the 17th Annual Indoor Spring Skills Camp (see Facebook link for pictures)
RAMS Announce 7th Annual All Rookie Outdoor Camp- May 5th 10AM- 3 PM with lunch provided.
You will need to register for this camp as it is a full contact ONLY FOR FIRST YEAR bantam players. It will be held at the RAMS Clubhouse facility located at 1011 Strathcona Dr., just west of St. Theresa's School. There is a $20 fee for this camp which will be applied as a credit to your registration fee when you make the RAMS this season. To register please contact Colleen Gettman at gman@telusplanet.net
RAMS TRYOUT CAMP DATES SET
The dates are May 7-11th and May 14-18, 2012 at the RAMS practice facility. Practices will be held each day from 6-8:30 PM. Please contact Colleen at the above email address or Sheena at

The RAMS Philosophy

OUR EXECUTIVE AND COACHES ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WHO DISPLAY AN EXTRAORDINARY AMOUNT OF TIME, PERSONAL COMMITMENT AND PERSONAL BEST TO ENSURE OUR TEAM IS SUCCESSFUL AND IN BEING A POSITIVE INFLUENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR PLAYERS.
Experience is not a prerequisite for playing for us. All we ask is that you be keen and prepared to work hard to get better every day when you do make our team!

*Please note that certain territorial requirements exist. If you live north of HIghway 16 or in the City of Edmonton, you may require a release to join the RAMS this season.

You may qualify for a RAMS bursary which will assist you in part of your costs of your education. Please check the "Bursary Recipients" link" for more information and how to apply.
The RAMS have been the most successful bantam football team around the City of Edmonton and County of Strathcona for the last 18 years. We are a professionally run organization and offer our players unique positive experiences . Winning championships is a by-product of our team's philosophy. Our post secondary bursary program is unique to Canadian bantam football.

Golf Tournament
The Sherwood Park Rams host an annual Bursary Golf Tournament at Legends Golf Course. The Bursary Fund provided financial support to an additional 14 recipients in 2011, bringing the total to 101 former Rams who have benefited from the bursary since its inception.
This golf event is our primary fund raiser for this one-of-a-kind program that provides bursary funds for Rams alumni to assist in their pursuit of post-secondary education. Visit the "Golf Tournament" Link for information about our next Bursary Golf Tournament.
