Our team's walk for "Kids for Cancer" was  HUGE success. From the pictures below, you will see that players on our team took the cause very seriously. Some even donated their hair, yes their hair, in return for huge donations. We are grateful to all who contributed to this great cause. We will have numbers by the end of this week.

Oh, almost forgot to mention, this was AFTER a big football game with our friends from the Sherwood Park North Stars. The RAMS were winners in every aspect this weekend. Good job men!!

Congratulations to two former Sherwood Park bantam players, one of them being former Ram DANNY BASS JR who along with former North Star Andrew King signed professional football contracts today with the Edmonton Eskimos (see story below).

Esks sign a Canadian linebacker 5/2/2008
(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have signed free agent non-import linebackers Dan Bass, Jr. the club announced today.

A First Team All-Canadian, Bass played seven games last season for the University of Alberta, recording 58 tackles, three pass breakups and a forced fumble. He is the son of CFL Hall of Famer and former Eskimo linebacker Dan Bass.
